One of the things so fascinating to me when I visit Louisiana is the beautiful hanging moss that decorates so many of the trees. This magnificent and majestic oak tree sitting in the middle of a beautifully manicured garden looked especially lovely with the long strands of moss gently hanging from its many branches. The artistry of the overall shape of this incredible oak tree, the curves of its branches with the frosting of moss proudly displayed within a ring of low-growing foliage seemed to beg to be captured in a photograph. The semi-abstract post-processing further enhances the gentle and whimsical feeling of this beautiful garden scene.
