A semi-abstract winding staircase photographed in New Orleans. Louisiana. And what is it about winding staircases anyway? This one seems to be tucked neatly away, in a relatively small area, just inside an arched doorway that clearly has no door. The staircase intrigued me as I loved the imagery of the scene that seemed to beg to be photographed. With some fun and creative post processing the building, which started off as a rather bland and boring yellow is now a lovely sea green complete with hints of blues and reds scattered throughout. The stair risers were once a very plain white are now a complementary pinkish-red with vioilet-blue treads. Texture has been added to the image to complete the semi-abstract presentation.
