For many, wintertime is a time of snow, trees that have gone dormant and lost all of their leaves while they wait for their awakening in spring. In the East Bay Area of Northern California we still have many, many trees in the full bloom of fall colors and as you can see in the background of this image trees that remain lush and green.

In between rainstorms I took a short walk around the neighborhood with camera in hand. There are many colorful images like this one that decorate the streets with their beautiful and still vibrant colors for all to enjoy!
